Ethan Yue is a Hong Kong born filmmaker and currently a student at the New York University. His work has won and been nominated for many categories within his school’s film festival including Best Picture, Best Writing and Best Directing. His film, Lonely (2018) is also the winner of the 2019 NYU Spring Viewers Choice Award for Filmmaking.
Ethan's films focus on real people and relationships. His inspiration for his filmmaking comes from his desire to share and expose other peoples stories whether it be through comedy or documentary.
This way he hopes to showcase a better understanding of social awareness. He uses these films to tell stories inspired by his own experiences.
